Painting has always been a means of self-expression. I started out drawing and painting portraits, emulating my teacher Stan Burnside, in 1988-1991 . But over time I started to experiment with different Methods of painting, a natural evolution…..for me the psychology of making images has limitless possibilities. The art world can definitely mess with one’s head at times, but expression has its way of coming out the way it wants to.
So with my portraits, to landscapes, to my current elusive abstractions, I am just painting.
