Much more than a vast collection of contemporary art, The Current: Baha Mar Gallery and Art Center is home to the ECCHO museum, the highly acclaimed Fairwind Exhibition, and one of the largest collections of Bahamian Art located in Nassau, The Bahamas. We believe creativity is a key component of health and happiness and a core skill to practice. Through captivating exhibitions, partnerships with local art collectors, artist residencies, dynamic tours, art lessons, workshops and talks our goal is to provide a platform to position Bahamian art on a global stage. In addition to this, our boutique provides a cultural shopping experience with a variety of authentic Bahamian merchandise, while offering custom framing and fine art reproductions. A part of The Current’s missions to satisfy the cultural responsibilities of the Baha Mar Resort Foundation all to create the larger context of what Art Direction ‘is’ for Baha Mar.
