Tanicia Pratt

Tanicia Pratt is an eclectic poet tethered between Nassau aan Freeport. Branching from roots in spoken word, Tanicia embodies fluidity through film, art, music, aan performance. With over a decade-long career, she has performed across The Caribbean, North America, UK & Europe, aan her work has been featured on Write About Now, PREE, HKW Berlin, Marché de la Poésie, National Art Gallery of The Bahamas, among others. 

She is the author of the poetry collection, BLUE, a lyrical narrative exploring love, heartbreak aan the inescapable blue(s) of The Bahamas. Her book was adapted into two short films, a musical performance titled ‘Winter Blues’, aan has been collected by The National Poetry Library of England.

She is a proud alum of The University of The Bahamas with a BA in Marketing, aan she also holds an MA in Poetic Practice from Royal Holloway, University of London.
