Writer and ceramist, Lisa Codella spent her childhood in the capital city, Nassau, where she first encountered a love for working with ceramics at the age of twelve. Thirty years later, she would rekindle that love and answer the clay call to become a full-time artist.
Her work is populated by characters and forms that tell their own stories and are sometimes accompanied by her original poetry. This, combined with a deep appreciation for wabi-sabi, imbues her pieces with a sense of timelessness that cuts through the noise of our modern life and invites us to reconnect with ancient memories.
