Keva Fawkes is an artist and educator who explores themes of cultural identity, history, and our connection to the environment. Her work draws on found objects and vernacular architectural references to tell stories about how people and places shape who we are. She investigates how identity and memory are influenced by history, community, and the landscape.
Keva is an Assistant Professor of Ceramics and Expanded Media at the University of the Bahamas. When she’s not creating or teaching, she enjoys gardening, hiking, kayaking, and journaling, often finding inspiration in the world around her.
