Justin Moultrie (b.August 11,1996 Nassau, Bahamas) is a visual artist working primarily in the medium of Acrylic paint and Oil pastels. He has pursued an AA in Fine Arts at the University of the Bahamas, where he was inspired to become a painter.
Moultrie uses paint and pastel to depict images of vibrant Bahamian life and landscape, spiritualism and the relationship between human and nature.
He has participated in several group exhibitions at multiple Bahamian galleries such as Central Bank of the Bahamas, Sixty2Sixty, Hillside House, The Gallery and Wine Bar and I.C.E Gallery, where he is currently a resident artist. Other notable highlights include his participation in the Musicians Artists and Vocalists Showcase (MAVS) festival, Equity Bank’s Charity Auction, and the Soundwaves charity Auction for Jennie Street. His artwork appears in many prominent collections in The Bahamas, and he has been commissioned to paint portraits of Olympic runners. Moultrie most recently participated in Mirror, Mirror, a Cayman Art Week exhibition.
