Jordanna Kelly

Jordanna Kelly (b. 1992 Nassau, The Bahamas), born to a Trinidadian mother and Bahamian father, exhibited artistic talent early in life. She is notably the only female artist to win first place in the Annual Art Competition of The Central Bank of The Bahamas as a Junior in 2010 and in the Senior Open Category in 2016. Kelly received The Astarita Nassauvian Art Scholarship at the College of The Bahamas, graduating with distinction in 2013 with an AA in Fine Art.

Kelly is a multidisciplinary artist whose work features ephemeral floral and figurative patterns using unexpected industrial materials and electric colors to create delicate yet assertive compositions.

Notable solo exhibitions include “Bugs, Blessings & Barriers” (2017), “Overwhelmed” (2018) & a solo booth at FUZE Caribbean Art Fair (2023). Kelly’s works are held in collections in The Bahamas, Germany, South Africa, Switzerland and Puerto Rico.

Currently, she serves as the Assistant Director of Art Direction at The Current, Baha Mar Gallery & Art Center.
