Jordan Salcito is an award-winning sommelier and entrepreneur who feels fortunate to have lived her dream of working in restaurants and wineries for much of her life. She is a wine industry veteran with over a decade of experience as a sommelier at restaurants, including Momofuku, Restaurant Daniel, and Eleven Madison Park (where she was part of the team to win the award for Outstanding Wine Service from the James Beard Foundation). Her wine programs at Momofuku were regularly recognized in the New York Times, Eater, and Food & Wine, and, among other awards, were named “Most Creative Wine List in the World” by the World of Fine Wine magazine.
Long a student of wine, Salcito passed the tasting portion of the Master Sommelier exam on her first try. She worked the harvest at several of Burgundy’s most world-renowned wineries, including Domaines Dujac, Comtes Lafon, and Georges Mugneret-Gibourg. While on maternity leave from her role as the Wine Director for David Chang’s Momofuku restaurants, Jordan helped pioneer the ready-to-drink beverage category, founding Drink RAMONA, a collection of award-winning organic Italian spritzes made from Italian grapes and Sicilian citrus fruit. Her first book, Smart Mouth, will be published in 2025. Jordan lives in Paris with her husband, Robert, and their two sons.
