Jessica Whittingham

Jessica Whittingham (b.1999) is a self-taught mixed-media collage artist from Nassau, Bahamas whose artwork highlights Bahamian life through a contemporary lens. She completed her schooling at Saint Mary’s University obtaining a BSc in Psychology and a MA in Counselling Psychology from McGill University in Canada. She began her art journey through painting in her younger years and participating, as well as placing in national competitions. During her schooling she transitioned to creating mixed-media collage work and during this time participated in many group exhibitions, publications, and had her debut solo exhibition in 2023. 

More specifically, Jessica had her first collaborative exhibition titled “Cuttin’ Up” in 2019, and since then she has participated in several exhibitions. She has had her art included in several exhibitions such as the Yale Divinity School’s “Allegories Renditions and a Small Nation of Women” exhibition in 2021, as well as in her first gallery show at CAB Gallery and Studio alongside artist Sue Katz in 2022 titled “Down Home”, her first solo exhibition in 2023 titled “It Takes a Village”, and her most recent solo exhibition in 2025 titled “The Earth & Her Daughters”.
