Jessica Colebrooke is a Bahamian ceramic artist whose work explores the vessel as a symbol of place, memory, and transformation. For over two decades, she has evolved from creating functional, decorative pieces to abstract forms that challenge traditional ceramic structures. Inspired by nature and its divine creator, Jessica draws from the textures, colors, and patterns of the natural world to inform her practice. Her mission is to expand the role of ceramics in The Bahamas—bridging fine art, craft, education, and industry—while nurturing emerging artists through exhibitions and initiatives like the All-Ceramics Exhibitions (ACE). Her work is a celebration of spiritual connection, cultural heritage, and artistic innovation.
