The Fresh Milk Art Platform is an artist-led, non-profit organisation founded in 2011 and based in Barbados. It is a platform that supports excellence in the visual arts through residencies and programmes, fostering a thriving art community. Fresh Milk offers professional support to artists from the Caribbean and further afield, seeking to stimulate critical thinking in contemporary visual art. Its goal is to nurture artists, raise regional awareness about contemporary practices and provide Caribbean artists with opportunities for growth, excellence and success.
Over the last thirteen years, Fresh Milk has built ongoing and meaningful relationships with the creative practitioners we have engaged with, continuing to support their artistic growth in tangible and intangible ways. Returning to FUZE Art Fair for its second edition, Fresh Milk wishes to continue showcasing the work of Barbadian artists who have been involved with our programming, whether through our local residency programme or our other regional and international initiatives, such as Caribbean Linked. This year, we are excited to feature work by Taisha Carrington, Ronald Williams and Kraig Yearwood.
