Claudia is a French-Miskito artist, arts educator and aspiring landscape architect based in Tkaronto (Toronto). She studied Environmental Design at OCAD University and has more than 5 years of experience as an educator with elementary students. She started a Master of Landscape Architecture at the University of Toronto/ Fall 2024.
Her art practice is multi-disciplinary, exploring painting, illustration, linocut, and 3D design. Claudia explores themes of identity, and her personal connection to the land. She shares her living experiences as an indigenous person in her work – through thoughtful designs, art expression, and inclusive teaching.
