Tyrone is a multidisciplinary artist presently serving as interim leader and creative director at the New Providence Community Center (a faith-based organization in the western area of New Providence). Over the past 4 decades, he has been producing 3-dimensional work involving various art forms, with an emphasis in hot and cold metal forming. His work has been predominantly by commission, from jewelry to large-scale architectural, and public installations. His latest work is a sixteen-foot-tall stainless steel landscape installation at the Central Bank of The Bahamas (2024), celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Central Bank.
His work is represented in the collection of The National Art Gallery of The Bahamas and in many private collections, locally and internationally. Since 2003, Tyrone has directed many workshops for school students and professional artists, with the primary purpose of sharing his passion and practice – empowering others to begin creative journeys or expand their existing processes.
